Letter to FDA
We are deeply concerned by the FDA’s continued authorization of flavored vaping products that put millions of young people at risk of nicotine addiction.
Families across the country are already living with the consequences of the youth vaping epidemic—watching children struggle with severe nicotine dependence, and in many cases, ongoing health and behavioral impacts tied directly to early addiction. Despite this, flavored products remain one of the strongest drivers of youth use, something the FDA itself has repeatedly acknowledged.
The recent authorization of new fruit-flavored e-cigarettes, including mango, only deepens this concern. Mango was one of the original JUUL flavors that helped fuel the youth vaping surge in the first place. Parents have seen this story before, and we know how damaging it can be when history is repeated instead of learned from.
Too many families have already fought this battle once. We cannot afford to relive it again.
Help us urge the FDA to put kids first and reconsider the authorization of flavored e-cigarettes before more young people are drawn into addiction. Add your voice and write to the FDA today.
