Sarasota Herald-Tribune: Parents Against Vaping advocate, Erin NesSmith of Sarasota, writes that her daughter, Ashlynn, began vaping at age 14. She became drawn to using e-cigarettes that were sold in candy-like flavors. Ashlynn's vaping use led to a growing addiction to nicotine, which created numerous physical and emotional challenges for her. In July 2024, Ashlynn died at age 20.
